What a Wonderful Easter

Wow, what a wonderful day for the Up family. My sweet little boy, Keeton, reminded us all the importance of Easter first thing this morning. Aunt Toni call to wish us all a Happy Easter and Keeton thanked her again for the resurrection eggs she sent him. We asked him which egg was his favorite (out of the 12 eggs) and he immediately said the empty one. I asked why is it empty and he very excitedly said "because Jesus is Risen"!! Andy's been going over the eggs in the morning with Keeton but I have to say thanks to his CLC teachers (Ms. Julie and Ms. Ann-Lindsey) for the passion and enthusiasm in his little voice.

We continued our day with an awesome service at Prestonwood with music reminding us that Jesus has Risen and He Is Alive, followed by an Easter message about Life after Death for those know Jesus as their personal savior. This was the second Sunday in a row I felt like the message was just for me, it's amazing how God speaks to right to us (even though there was thousands listing to the same message). Today's message was just another reminder that my sweet Kelsey girl is in heaven with my Jesus. Andy and I both miss her all the time, she was just so sweet and special to us. Keeton talks about her all the time, too. But I know I will see that sweet baby girl again when I get to heaven and until then I have a picture in my mind of her in the arms of Jesus (not sure how he's holding Kelsey and all my other loved ones in heaven but I know he is somehow). My friend Molly and Keeton's friend Travis went with us to church, also. I think she was a little overwhelmed with the size of Prestonwood, but I enjoyed having her come and I know Keeton enjoyed having Travis there, thanks Molly and Travis. I hope you will try it again when it's not so packed.

After church we had two family dinners. First, Andy's dad made a wonderful Easter dinner for us and Andy's sister and brother-in-law. Then we went to the Kelsey Marie Ranch and had our first cook out at the ranch for my cousin Greg's 40th birthday. It was a fun afternoon of 4 wheeling, egg hunting, exploring, playing and eating. At one point, we were all at the farthest part of the land...it took one mule, 2 four wheelers and a bike to get us all out there but we all had fun (except maybe Uncle Al, he was worried someone was going to get hurt--the big boys and little boys were being wild and crazy boys...we love you Uncle Al). The Ringle boys and Keeton were worn out!!! I must say Andy and I were worn out, too!!!

But all in all, today was full of wonderful new memories and many reminders of the things in life that are so important, family, my sweet Kelsey girl and most importantly Jesus is Alive and because of his death and resurrection we too, if we believe in Him will also Live.
