The surgeon came out to update us and said Kelsey did very well!!!!! As soon as they closed the VSD it made a big difference on Kelsey's left lung that kept collapsing. The doctor seemed to think there won't be a lot of permanent damage with her lungs but only time will really tell. The next 8 to 10 hours will be the most telling as to how well this really went. So, keep praying. The surgeon said this was a very big VSD.

Such wonderful news!!! Way to go, Kelsey! I am soo glad this surgery is behind her now. On to recovery and getting stronger. Will keep the prayers coming. Love you guys!
