Well, Kelsey didn't get her new pic line yesterday, but she did get the other chest drainage tube out. Last night they had to get new IVs and had a hard time hitting a vein. After being poked several times, they finally put one in her head. : ( She only gets her antibiotics and one other med through her IVs the rest are orally. Today they took out her foley catheter (urine), so she's slowing losing everything. She still has the draining tube in her abdomen but its putting out less and less fluid. Tomorrow at 2:oopm Kelsey supposedly going to get her pic line and then hopefully Saturday she can be taken off the ventilator!!!!!! So, Andy and I can finally hold our little baby girl again. Sorry this is such a quick update but it's all I have time for at the moment and I wanted you to know she's still on the mend. I'm looking forward to holding my baby girl Saturday!!!!

Soooooo happy to hear Kelsey is recovering so well. I will pray for a smooth transition off the ventilator so that you can hold and hug and love on that precious baby girl!
