Kelsey's Still Doing Well

The next several days will be slow going. I told my daddy, that no news was good news. She's still needs all the support she's getting. They are happy with her process so far, but we are still in a wait and see mode to know just how fast she will get stronger. She was on the ventilator for almost two weeks before the surgery, so she's going to take a little longer to get off of it. She's starting to wake up more and doesn't like being retrained so she's fighting it. She's definitely a little fighter!!!! Because she doesn't close her eye's they covered them up to help her close them and keep them from drying out. They also uncovered her incision to help it heal, so she looked a little worst last night, but she's still our beautiful little girl!!!!!
