Kelsey had another rough day...her chest tube was clogged again but they finally got it working so tonight she looked much better. She is still having trouble with her blood pressure and a whole lot of fluid is continuing to drain. Andy and I helped give her a bath tonight and she looked good when we finally left tonight. Pray the night goes well and tomorrow is better than today. Taking it one day at a time.
We have lot of pics we want to share....
This is our sweet Kelsey girl tonight!!! Her face and chest are still a little puffy.

This was Kelsey while were we getting her bath ready. She knew what was coming!!!

Here sweet Kelsey is looking up at momma and daddy.

This is Kelsey all tucked in for the night with her
princess fairy socks.

You just have to see a close up of her precious socks (thanks Ms. Lisa)

This was earlier today after they kept messing with her and her chest tube.
Keeton came to visit Miss Kelsey
today also.
Keeton loves his baby sister!!!!

This was taken Feb 10
th, remember she sleeps with her eyes open (still).

Momma got to sort of hold Kelsey on Feb 9
th and daddy held her the night before. She's laying on a pillow in my lap.

This is momma and daddy with Kelsey on her 6 month birthday Feb 4, 2010.
Keeton enjoying the snow Friday.

This is daddy and
Keeton on a four wheeler in the snow.
Keeton went bowling for the first time. He's pretty good and he did have lots of fun despite the look here.
Such sweet pictures!
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed having Keeton over. Let me know if you want to bring him by again today - we're around.
She is just so precious! Of course, I love the princess socks. :) I'm glad Kelsey is still fighting. Let her know she's surrounded by prayer, as are the rest of you. Let me know if you guys need anything. I'm just a fast walk away.
ReplyDeleteKelsey looks precious. Those eyes are stunning! I know your hearts are heavy this Valentine's Day, but we will all keep praying for miraculous healing.

The princess socks are amazing. A perfect look for our little princess. I did not know the story behind Jeremy Camp's songs, but was really inspired when I read them.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for Kelsey girl at the Riley house. Been thinking about how it's always darkest before the dawn. Praying for healing and God's light.
Dearest Patti and Andy--
ReplyDeleteWe think and pray for you often! My heart feels heavy alongside yours. It is obvious that you are "struggling well" as your actions, not your feelings are much more an indicator of your faith. Just admitting that you know God is good still, as I've seen in previous posts, shows you are indeed struggling well. We rest with you knowing that our Savior has felt and endured all things and is able to sympathize with our suffering (Heb 4:15). Thank you for being honest and transparent through this blog with your feelings. We continue to pray for God's mercy on little Kelsey and that she will be aware of her creator's nearness. She is a doll in these pics and the fairy socks are darling! I'm so glad she was better last night. Oh Lord, please comfort Andy and Patti. Love, Ivy and Sumner
Patti and Andy,
ReplyDeleteI am so praying for your family! I am amazed when I see you and visit with you each week how unbelievably strong you are. I know you are crumbling inside but you are such an example of standing strong through faith!! I love the pics and the ones of our little boy. Makes me want to see him and give him a big hug! Tell him he has got one coming on Tuesday! Thanks for the updates so that we can know how to pray specifically! Hang in there!
Patti & Andy, you and your sweet baby girl are in our thoughts and prayers. Just continue to enjoy God's daily blessings!
ReplyDeleteI just love how she is looking up at you two. So sweet! And I could go on and on about her lil' sockies!!! She is precious and I am praying. Many blessings to you and your family.
