Kelsey is struggling to breathe without a lot of pain
reliever. She was dropping her heart rate earlier in the week when she was un
comfortable but since we have been trying to keep her more and more
comfortable she now is having trouble just breathing (because the left lung is
collapsed and the right lung is filling up with fluid). She will be so sedated that the only thing left will be to take her off the ventilator today or tomorrow. We are just continuing to trust in God for comfort and timing. We love our sweet Kelsey girl so much!!!!
Thanks for your continued prayers,
Patti
This picture was taken Thursday, one of Kelsey's favorite nurses Libby brought this flowerbow and she loves it. Thanks Ms. Libby.
Hang in there, still keeping you in my prayers. God has a greater plan, and He will give you strength, whatever His plan may be for your lives. Your story has so touched my heart, I went to bed praying for you, and woke up praying for you and baby Kelsey.

What a precious picture of your beautiful little girl. My prayers are peace and comfort for all of you. Know that I'm here if you need me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for updating the blog so frequently. I know it takes much needed energy, but for those who are living in different cities really appreciate your updates.
ReplyDeletePraying night and day for you. You are never far from my thoughts.
I am so sorry you are having to go through this. It is so, so hard to understand God's reasoning for this. Kesley, however, has touched more lives in her short, little life than most of us will in a lifetime! Know that I am praying morning, noon and night for all of you!

you guys are such an incredible example. Your faith is amazing and shows your confidence in God. You know HE's in control of everything and you can trust in HIS plan - it's hard for us to understand but HE always makes a beautiful painted picture to carry with us forever. HE is our strength, comforter, refuge, peace and continuously gives us HIS unfailing love. HE's a great big God that you can rest in HIS hands and HE will take of care you -- forever.

Still praying for you guys....
ReplyDeleteOne of the pastors at my church tells the story of how her favorite verse. It's John 11:35. "Jesus wept." It's because He knew not what to say but was profoundly moved and sorrowful. I can't see the pictures of your beautiful family without thinking that verse.
God Bless you guys.

Remember this family, most gracious God, when they are lonely and depressed, and support them in the dark night of grief and despair. For your love is faithful, and you do not forget your broken ones. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen.
ReplyDeleteI don't know these people, and I can't even imagine what they are going through, but I am praying. May the Lord kindly welcome sweet Kelsey into his loving arms at a time and in a way that also ministers to the hearts of her parents. Thank you Lord that You can and will provide the comfort and strength for this sweet family to walk through this terrible time.
ReplyDeleteLove you friend,
Kim

I know there are not any words that would lighten any of the grief that I know your family are in the throes of. So I’ll just say, how fortunate is the baby that has parents that have offered up heartfelt prayers for her every day of her all too short life. I can see her now in the arms of the LORD as the LORD whispers into her ears those very prayers that were sent to her on her behalf. These very prayers I know will make the paradise that she’s in all that much sweeter as she cherishes them until the day you see your girl again. Please know that your family are in our prayers.
