Precious Pictures of Kelsey

We had another pretty good day with Kelsey. She did have to have her chest drain removed and yesterday they removed several other things so she would be more comfortable. Tonight they moved her to a big twin bed so we could lay down with her and we wouldn't have to move her to hold her (it's very hard on her to move her at this point..she so big). It was so sweet to watch Andy laying in the bed with Kelsey, both of them sound asleep. Andy and I are ready and know Kelsey won't be with us for much longer. Thanks for your continued prayers. God is with us and we are experiencing so many blessing with Kelsey these last couple of day. One that I forgot to mention is our nurse, Tiffany, that has worked FIVE day in a row just to be with us and Kelsey these last several days. She has truly been amazing and wonderful. She is going on vacation with her husband over that next week and a half and I'm glad she's getting the rest she deserves and needs. Keep her in your prayers also, she loves Kelsey so much, too. Actually, the whole CICU is very sick at the moment. All the beds are full and most of the kids are one to one nurse care. Last night a family lost their child and it was hard to watch knowing what's coming with Kelsey.

Another blessing today was receiving the photos of Kelsey and family taken yesterday. They are AMAZING!!!!! I can't believe they are already to view, here's the site to see Kelsey's photos http://tinysparrowfoundation.org/blog/ Make sure to click play to see all the wonderful pictures not just the ones you see right away. Thank you SO much Lidia and Jael.

God keeps blessing us over and over with Kelsey.

  1. Oh Patti,
There are no words to say. I think the song that is played when you view those pictures of beautiful Kelsey and your family says it all..."though my heart is torn, I will praise you in the storm." This is where the rubber hits the proverbial road in the Christian life...will we praise him still? I thank our God for giving you and Andy the faith to remain in him even in the midst of great fear/anguish. I wish my arms could reach through this screen and swaddle you with hugs. I really wish those hugs could change things. It takes many kleenex to view those wonderful pictures of Kelsey and your family. What a treasure to have. Praying for you all continually.

  2. I pray as well, that God would infuse you with his love and grace to help you all get through this difficult time. One day soon, we'll all know the why's, but for now we take our love for and trust in God, and with the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ, and take each step in faith. God bless all of you.

  3. We will never know how many lives sweet little Kelsey touched without ever even able to say a word. Medical staff... bloggers... friends... strangers in the hospitals. Her story and the love ya'll have shown her through this entire process is a testiment to your faith and love for Him. I am so grateful you have so many mini "communities" that ya'll are plugged into. More people to love on Kelsey and more people to love on you, Andy and Keeton. You will see her again and when you do, she will have been PERFECTLY taken care of by our Father as He loves her EVEN more than you. Continuing to pray. -Sheila

  21. I am wondering if you even realize that rght now your family are missionaries to eveyone who reads this blog and is following your journey. I had drifted away from God, but Kelsey has brought me back home to His love.
Her life here may be brief, but she is doing very important work for Him while she is here.
Bless you Andy and Patti and precious little Keeton. Most of all bless you Kelsey, and thank you for touching my life.

    With much awe and love,
